So, after 5 tumultuous years, they may have finally healed me! Without being too optimistic, I’m really thinking positively about the last few weeks and my recent pancreatic stent placement.  Although the ERCP that is required to do the stent placement sent me into a horrible pancreatic attack, after 16 days in the hospital, through both Christmas and New Years, I was finally able to come home.  I haven’t felt this healthy and free in over 6 months, so so far, missing out on the holidays was completely worth it. Crossing my fingers that this amazing feeling continues :)
